Enliven Wellness Festival 2024 is being held during August Long Weekend (2-5) and is located near Port Alberni on Vancouver Island (exact location disclosed closer to the date). We are anticipating receiving around 500 people this year. Our opening ceremony begins at 6 pm on Friday Aug 2nd and our closing circle ends at approximately 1 pm on Monday Aug 5th. We encourage everyone to be present for the whole duration to get the full experience of this gathering.

We will add more information about specific camping, parking and the facilities at a later date. Stay tuned!

Enliven Wellness Festival is centered around deepening our relationship to ourselves, to each other and to the natural world. With that intention in mind, we will be offering a variety of workshops, ceremonies and talks to promote wellness in body, mind and spirit. There will be an array of masterful artistic expressions from live music and DJ sets to acrobatic and dance performances. As well as an opportunity for you to participate! We will also have a beautifully curated vendor area with artisans selling their handmade items and a high vibrational food truck where you will be able to purchase nourishing meals.

Enliven Wellness Festival requires many volunteers to make it possible for everyone to enjoy their experience. Every year, we ask potential volunteers to fill out a Volunteer Application Form and include relevant skills and experience information for us to assess who to add to our team.

Volunteer applications open February 1st.

 

The application deadline is May 15th. You will receive your results by June 12th. We may accept applications for volunteers after the deadline based on changing needs and availability.

Enliven Wellness Festival is looking for facilitators to create a unique experience and journey for the participants. Every year, we ask potential facilitators to fill out a Facilitator Application Form so we can fairly review the many offerings and determine how we populate our schedule. We are looking for people who are aligned with our values and who are passionate about sharing their gifts with the community.

 

This year, we are focusing on curating a flow throughout the weekend, providing opportunities for embodiment, expansion, integration and rest - all with a focus on connection with self, others and nature. Our selection process will refer to this intention and will determine which offerings we select. We are basing our choices on the relevance of the workshop to the values and to the overall theme/flow of the festival.

The facilitator applications open January 16th. The application deadline is March 15th. You will receive your results by April 15th.

Performer Application Form

Enliven Wellness Festival loves to invite all forms of art to enrich the experience for all participants. Every year, we ask potential performers to fill out a Performer Application Form to let us know what they would like to offer.

We are looking for:

  • musicians that align with our community values

  • dancers and flow artists to perform during the DJ sets and throughout the festival

  • visual artists to create pieces during the festival

  • ambient musicians to accompany workshops

  • art installations and site decor

The performer applications open January 16th. The application deadline is April 15th. You will receive your results by May 1st.

The Enliven Festival endeavors to curate a diverse market by promoting local artisans and vendors. Every year, we ask potential vendors to fill out a Vendor Application Form. There is a vendor fee of $400 as which includes an extra ticket for you to bring an assistant for your booth. The vendor applications open January 16th. The application deadline is April 15th. You will receive your results by May 1st.

Your successful application provides you with a pass to the Enliven Festival 2024 which includes access to the festival grounds and a tent camping pass for the weekend. (We will have more information about tent, car and RV camping at a later date)

Details for expectations of the exchange are listed in the individual application forms. 

If it is available to you now, we recommend purchasing a ticket at the lowest price in case your application is not accepted. If you do get accepted, you will get access to our priority ticket exchange in order to sell your ticket.

Fund Allocation

  • Where do Enliven funds get allocated?

  • Does Enliven support charities?

We are in communication with local Indigenous representatives to decide how we will be allocating a percentage of ticket sales revenue towards reciprocal action. Funds are used mainly to cover rental, infrastructure, staffing, artist, travel and material costs required to run the festival.

Refund Policy

  • Can I get a refund for my pass?

  • What happens if I miss the ferry?

  • Can I transfer my pass to someone else?

We do not offer any refunds on ticket purchases. Please be diligent in planning your trip to the festival site including pre-booking your ferry. If you would like to transfer/sell/give your ticket to someone else, please send us an email at info@enlivenwellnessfestival.com to inform us of the names of the new ticket holders and who they are replacing on the list.
