However, we have an important announcement to share before you buy!
At Enliven, some of our core values are Authenticity and Integrity. With that comes transparency in our communication. As you might imagine, it has been a journey to find an oasis for our sweet gathering. We had secured a location in Port Alberni, however, the landowner has recently been facing some challenges that have made it unwise to go forward with that agreement, and thus we have begun to search for a new home. While this experience is unsettling, we know that it is a re-direction and we are fully trusting that the right spot is in store for us!
What is going to change?
Our ideal situation is to keep the gathering on Vancouver Island, and on the same dates. However, in order to go ahead, we may need to make some changes.
One of our current options is LakeTown Ranch, which has another event scheduled on the dates we had planned, meaning we would need to move the festival to later in August.
We have options in the interior, however, BC is anticipating a very dry summer which will likely bring forest fires, meaning that August festival dates would be unwise, thus moving the festival to September.
Our intention is to have this confirmed within the next 2-4 weeks; as you can imagine, it's in our best interest to have it sorted as soon as possible!
How does this affect you?
Since this change is absolutely no fault of yours, ALL tickets will be eligible for refunds if you are not able to make it to the new location, or if there are new dates which don't align for you.
Should you still get your ticket?
If you are a die-hard, committed Enliven fan, by all means please do secure your ticket! We will keep tickets at this tier until these details have been sorted out. So if you would feel better waiting, we understand and encourage you to follow what feels best, knowing that you will still be able to secure Tier 2 prices once the details are released. If you're happy to travel and have the majority of August / September unbooked in your calendar, then you have nothing to lose - as we mentioned tickets are refundable.
All tickets purchased between now and the announcement of the verified date/location will be refundable from the date of announcement up until 2 weeks after the date of announcement. This will give you time to make sure it still works for you. If requested, you will be refunded in full minus the service charge from our website (about $7).
Tickets purchased with full knowledge of the updated location / date will not be eligible for refunds.
